How do I change the IPS tag of a domain?

If you want to change the IPS TAG of your .UK domain name, there are several ways to do this:

Your current registrar may provide you with a web interface to do this.
You can drop an email or fax to your current registrar.
If you can't get hold of your registrar, or if you don't want them to know, you can go direct to Nominet and for a small fee they can do it for you.

For the first two methods above, the process to change the IPS TAG by the existing registrar of a domain is very straight forward and literally takes about 30 seconds to do.

If your registrar wants to charge you to change the TAG, ask them for the justification of why they are charging for this 30 second task? For information, Zarr does not charge for TAGs to be changed, or to accept domains onto our TAG.
